You're perfect

Roller-skating I busted my ankle 
Trying to do more than I could handle
Spinning around backward my skates tangled,

Fall & my left foot is a wierd angle.

Drive myself an hour to the ER, 

They put a plate & 6 screws down in there.

Getting better I'm D/C'd from PT,

I head out to my great-niece's party,

Turning 8 she helped me limp to my car.

We talked about what had happened to me,
Relating my roller-skating story.

She shook her head & shared her wise child view:

"Aunt Jezaida,everyone make mistakes,

& you're perfect, just the way God made you."
